BooKoo Foods Issues Voluntary Recall of Select Abundant Life Foods Products Due to Gluten Contamination

BooKoo Foods is voluntarily recalling several finished products under the Abundant Life Foods brand due to the presence of gluten. Abundant Life Foods is renowned for producing a variety of certified gluten-free products, and we take this matter very seriously. The specific products being recalled include:
- GF Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- GF Chocolate Cake Mix
- GF Cake Mix Variety #2
- GF Basic Muffin Mix
- GF Muffin Mix Variety #1
- GF Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
- GF Butter Vanilla Icing Mix
These products are identified with the manufacture/batch date of “04/30/2024” and a best by date of “04/30/2025”. A total of 91 cases were shipped from our facility; we are pleased to report that all 91 cases have been accounted for and removed from commerce before reaching the consumer level. We extend our sincerest apologies to our consumers for this oversight. Ensuring the safety and integrity of our products is our top priority, and we deeply regret any concern or inconvenience this may have caused. As a precautionary measure, our facility is undergoing a comprehensive deep cleaning and sanitation process to eliminate any risk of contamination. We are committed to resolving this issue promptly and thoroughly. We will resume production and distribution of these products as soon as our facility meets the stringent standards required for gluten-free certification.
